SafeNet Schools Kenya is a CBC-aligned child online safety and AI education initiative. We help learners aged 8–17 stay safe online while empowering them to use technology ethically and creatively.
Yes. Our modules are designed to integrate seamlessly with CBC learning outcomes, especially in Digital Literacy, Social Studies, and Life Skills strands.
Our programs are teacher-led. We train and certify educators to deliver SafeNet content confidently. We also offer support materials and mentorship to ensure successful implementation.
SafeNet is tailored for learners aged 8 to 17, years with age-appropriate modules for upper primary and lower secondary levels.
It’s our enrichment program that introduces learners to ethical, creative uses of AI. Students explore tools like chatbots, image generators, and coding basics—while learning how to use them responsibly.
We teach learners how to:
Recognize and avoid online risks (cyberbullying, scams, inappropriate content)
Practice digital wellbeing and screen-time balance
Protect their privacy and identity online
Report unsafe behavior to trusted adults
Yes. We run community workshops and provide take-home guides to help caregivers support safe digital habits at home.
We’re currently piloting in Nairobi and Kiambu, but our model is scalable nationwide. We welcome interest from schools across Kenya.
